About this Puja
Narmada Pujan is the worship of Maa Narmada, performed on the sacred ghats of Omkareshwar. Devotees often choose this puja before or after Jyotirlinga darshan, as Maa Narmada is worshipped here as a living goddess whose waters are believed to purify and bless life deeply.
The ritual may begin with snan or achaman using Narmada jal. This is followed by pujan with flowers, deep, coconut, incense, and stotra recitation in the name of the devotee. In the evening, the Narmada Aarti is performed at the ghat, where large lamps are offered to the river in a deeply moving collective prayer.
Devotees choose this puja for emotional cleansing, peace, blessings for the family, spiritual progress, and inner lightness. Many also choose it when praying for children, health, or the peace of ancestors.

Puja Participants & Packages
- Devotees can choose from the following puja packages: Individual (1 devotee), Couple (2 devotees), Family (Minimum 3 / Maximum 6).
- Each puja is performed individually by the dedicated temple Pandits within the temple premises, adhering to traditional rituals.
Puja Timings
- The puja will be performed within the selected time slot as per temple schedule.
- Devotees are requested to arrive half an hour before the time slot allotted for the puja in the temple.
Location
- The Narmada Pujan - Narmada Aarti will be performed at Shri Mamleshwar Jyotirlinga, Omkareshwar premises in your presence.
